Anytime Adele says its time for new music, you better pay attention. Her previous two albums recorded amazing sales worldwide and she is now one of the major forces to reckon with in the music industry. Which is why lots of fans put their personal lives aside to do whatever it takes to appear at any of her tours, as they happen rarely. But will Adele tour the UK this year?
Well no rumor, hints or announcements have been heard or seen to that effect but we can hope. Normally, Adele drops a new album, and then goes on a tour, so any chance of a tour this year, anywhere in the world, will happen after a new album. This is where the good news lies. Popular newspaper, Telegraph announced recently that Adele’s follow up album to “25.” could drop in 2019. The newspaper said Adele has returned to her hometown of London from America, and reports even went as far as saying the singer intended to write new music there in the UK.
Telegraph said, “She’s back in the UK and intends to write here. A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs.”
Adele’s last album 25 dropped as far back as November 2015.
Adele has been quoted as saying she isn’t a fan of tours in the past, she once said, “Touring isn’t something I’m good at. Applause makes me feel vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you. I know I come across as very anti-fame and anti all that and it’s because I am. It’s because I want to surprise you.”
We can only hope that, like she said, she’ll always have to do it for us.
