Chris Brown’s Legal Battle For His Illegal Pet Faces More Delay

Chris Brown’s monkey battle in court is about to experience a long delay.

The singer who is already battling investigations that have trailed the Paris incident is still in court over charges emanating from his alleged ownership of an illegal (exotic) pet.

In December, Breezy was officially charged with the possession of a pet monkey in an illegal manner.

According to Carlifornia law, anyone who wishes to own exotic pets must adhere to a regulatory process which needs them to get a special permit.

Chris Brown ignored that process when he gifted his daughter “Fiji” the pet monkey as a non-birthday present.

He even went as far as posting a pic of himself, Royalty and their pet monkey for his 44 million Instagram followers to view, which is rumored to be the beginning of this legal drama he is currently facing every now and then.

Chris Brown’s trial over the pet was meant to start this month but was pushed forward to March 19.

It is all set to happen at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Centre in Los Angeles, with Efrain M Aceves named as judge for the case.

Breezy’s monkey was taken away by authorities after Chris Brown’s social media posting.

The animal was not hurt in any way all through the process of repossession.
