Olamide’s former manager, Toni Payne has revealed a bitter encounter she had with Comedian AY a long time ago when she was still managing Olamide.
According to her she said she went to meet AY if he could allow her artiste, Olamide perform at his annual AY Live but he turned her down simply because Olamide was still an upcoming artiste who wasn’t known.
A year later she said after Olamide has started making a name for himself in the entertainment industry, the same AY came back to her begging for her artiste, Olamide to come and perform for free for him at the same show he refused him from performing a year ago.
She said if not for ID Cabasa who just pacified the whole matter, she wasn’t going to allow Olamide perform at his show for free instead she would bill him times two of what he charges but she just decided to let it slide.
Toni Payne revealed that she stopped speaking to AY because of that incident even till today. She also revealed that she’s always proud anytime she sees Olamide thriving because the road was very but his talent and hardwork couldn’t be hidden for long.
