The Police in Enugu state has arrested a man who allegedly killed his wife. According to a statement released by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Ebere Amaraizu, the sad incident happened on March 8th.
The deceased according to the statement was a mother of 4 and was healthy until her husband allegedly snuffed life out of her.
It was gathered that the wife identified as Nkechi Nnamani, has been hale and hearty before the husband, Sunday Nnamani, allegedly hit her with an object on the head which left her in coma. Nkechi was consequently rushed to Parklane Specialist Hospital, Enugu, where she was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty,’’ he said.
The Police spokesperson noted that investigations have begun already and the corpse has already been deposited at the morgue.
