A video has surfaced online of the moment a yet-to-be identified elderly woman was caught stealing money sprayed on a celebrant at an event.
The event was said to have taken place over the weekend.
The location of the event is however, not clear, voices in the background suggest that it could have been an event somewhere in the South-east, which is predominantly Igbos.
The woman hid the money, naira notes in her sleeves.
Reports say the woman pretended to be picking to help pick money sprayed at the celebrant.
The video showed that when she was eventually caught, Naira notes she stole were dug out of her sleeve.
MC Edopikin, who was at the event on Saturday, May 21, and filmed the incident, revealed that women made sure the woman was not beaten.
