With reports of Ighalo loan deal coming to an end, reports have it that Manchester United have failed to reach
agreement for extending Ighalo loan with Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
Ighalo arrived at the Old Trafford on the transfer window deadline day on a six months loan which was to expire yesterday, May 31, 2020.
According to the UK outlet SunSport, United have failed to reach an agreement with the Chinese Super League club,
and now the Nigerian set to go back to the Asian country.
After coming to Manchester United on a loan deal, Ighalo has netted four goals for the club in an eight-match appearance.
Also, sources said Ighalo had earlier made a personal appeal to the management of the Chinese club
to allow him to remain with Manchester United for a further six months.
