A traditional ruler in Anambra State, HRH Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu of Ojoto, in Idemili South LGA (Eze Oranyelu 1 na Eze Ojoto 111) led a community task force on Friday morning, 27th March 2020 to shut down a burial ceremony at Akabor Ojoto that is in disobedience to the state government’s directives for the fight against Coronavirus.
The Anambra State government had given out various directives banning public gathering of 30 people and more, suspension of burials, traditional weddings and other community festivals.
