Steve Jobs’ widow and one of the richest women in the world Laurene Powell Jobs has said she will be giving away $28 billion (N10,234,000,000,000.) in assets during her lifetime or shortly after her death.

Laurene oversees a sprawling media, political, and charitable empire called Emerson Collective. She plans to direct Emerson to give away her wealth, Vox reports.

MPN gathers that Laurene said she inherited her wealth from her husband who did not care about the accumulation of wealth.

She told the New York Times: “I inherited my wealth from my husband, who didn’t care about the accumulation of wealth.

“I’m not interested in legacy wealth buildings, and my children know that. If I live long enough, it ends with me.”
