Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has admitted he deserved his yellow card against Southampton.
He however labelled a member of the hosts’ bench “an idiot” over the incident that saw him booked.
Referee Mike Dean showed Mourinho a yellow card, after he approached the Southampton bench during the second half of the game at St Marys.
The Spurs boss appeared to try and look at their tactics on a piece of paper, which led to an exchange of words.
Speaking after the match, Mourinho said: “I think the yellow card is fair because I was rude, but I was rude to an idiot.
