The Convener of the Yoruba Mandate Group, Akogun Banji Ojo has felicitated with Muslims across the Country on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebrations.
In a press statement released by his Chief of Staff, Akogun Banji Ojo urged Yoruba Muslims across the globe to emulate the life and teachings of The Holy Prophet Muhammad, by being ambassadors of peace and unity.
He said, “There are key lessons to be learnt from the life, deeds and teachings of Prophet Muhammad; he was a symbol of peace and unity and as we celebrate him we must emulate these qualities of his.”
“The Yoruba Muslims should also be saddled with the responsibility of ensuring peace, harmony and tranquility among the Yoruba communities worldwide for development and progress of the Yoruba Race”, he added
