On the 4th of August 2019, Ms Jisola Benson turned a year older and while we prepared for what would have been a birthday bash, she surprised us by deciding to celebrate it in a way more fulfilling to her and those in need.
She spent the day volunteering at a ‘God Bless Nigeria’ rally for feeding, clothing and cleaning up area boys, drug addicts and the destitute!
We saw her dressed down in jeans and Tshirt, handing out stuffs to the needy, in a rough and chaotic environment.
Should not really have surprised us, knowing where her passion lies, but we were speechless. That’s her birthday spent! Need we say no more.
