“Don’t fight me” Rochas Okorocha’s warning to new government

Governor of Imo State; Rochas Okorocha has issued a note of warning to the incoming government just hours ahead of the inauguration ceremony.

The governor made this known to the state government workers on Tuesday 28th May, as he also mentioned;

As I walk out of this government house, let nobody fight me and I will not fight anybody. Governor is a shield that covers every personality that is in office. When you remove the shield of the governor off my face, you will see the real Rochas. The real Rochas is still as big, if not bigger than the Rochas who was governor”.

He said

I have not broken the law, I only bend to achieve results. I do things the other way and I get results. I remember in 2011 when darkness ravaged and people cannot go out for fear of being kidnapped but today Imo is a secured state.

“So I can say that I came, I saw and I conquered. I am not here to make speeches on my achievements. I encourage you to support the new government in power.

“The office of the governor is a seal covering people, it is like a mask covering me and if you remove that mask you will see the real Rochas that is bigger than the governor. Let those that are fighting stop as I leave the Government House today.”

Governor Rochas Okorocha would be handing over to the new government which will be lead by Emeka Ihedioha
