All Progressive Congress candidate Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has won the Lagos gubernatorial polls.
According to reports, Sanwo-Olu defeated PDP’s Jimi Agabaje with over 500,000 votes to emerge the new governor of Lagos state.
Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Obafemi Hamzat, reportedly won in all 20 Local Government Areas in the state. APC also won the 40 legislative seats at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Via the official result released by INEC, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had a total of 739,445 votes to defeat Jimi Agbaje who polled 206,141 votes.
