Pan-Igbo cultural and socio-political group, The Ndigbo Unity Forum (NUF) has also joined in to congratulate and praise President Muhammadu Buhari after his recently-announced re-election.
President of the group, Mr Augustine Chukwudum showered the praises on the President hours ago in Enugu State, asking the citizens to remain calm after the recent declaration of the overall winner.
Chukwudum also hailed Nigerians for their overwhelming presence at polling units on the day of election.
His words, “My appeal to every Nigerian now is for us to remain calm as the winner has been declared by INEC.
“Any party that does not accept the result should go to court.
“There is no need for violence in any form under any guise.”
