As Meek Mill’s The Motivation Tour is set to storm Texas this weekend, he was pleasantly surprised after his Houston show last Saturday.
The rapper just announced that Houston Town had honored him with his own personal day in the city.
He shared these words alongside Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, “Life is a roller coaster! #themotivationtour Houston gave me a meek mill day,”
This honor is coming after Meek’s several efforts to assist in reforming USA’s criminal justice system after his release from prison in 2018.
In January, Mill collaborated with Jay-Z, Van Jones, Robert Kraft and several others to inaugurate the REFORM Alliance that will focus on ways to cope with the restraints of the judicial system that are not fair.
Travis Scott has also been honored in the same city.
Meek Mill’s tour tagged “The Motivation.” is set to continue in Phoenix today.
