Mohamed Savane, a 15-year-old footballer has lost his life to suspected heart attack while he was on the pitch playing with his friends.
Savane, a midfielder reportedly suffered a suspected heart attack on the pitch and so many other footballers to include Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille and Bordeaux have offered their condolences.
The deceased played for Reims’ U14 and U15 side’s before joining partner club Cormontreuil FC last summer.
Reims president Jean-Pierre Caillot while speaking about Savane said;
“I do not have words. To leave at 15 years is already a real drama.
“But when it happens more on a football field, between friends, we are in dread. The whole club thinks of Mohamed’s family, his parents in particular, and his family.
May his soul rest in peace.
