Richard Mason, multimillionaire founder of internet comparison site moneysupermarket.com, found out he couldn’t be the father of his sons, the eldest now 23 and 19-year-old twins, according to the Daily Mail.

Doctors diagnosed him with cystic fibrosis two years ago at Liverpool’s Broadgreen Hospital.

The disease prevents men with it from having children. DNA tests later confirmed the fact he wasn’t their dad.

The 55-year-old North Wales businessman divorced his wife, Katie, in 2008.

In December 2016, at the same time it was confirmed he was not the boys’ biological father, Mason launched a paternity fraud case against his ex-wife to get back some of the millions he had paid to her in the divorce settlement, according to the Daily Mail.

A judge ordered his ex-wife to pay $446,000 for her deceit, Yahoo reported.

Mason said his ex-wife admitted to having an affair during the ’90s, but did not name the man.
