Boxer Anthony Crolla broke down in tears as he married his partner of seven years, Francesca Sanderson.
The 31-year-old – who met his now-wife by chance while in a clothing store recounted just how emotional he got in an interview with OK! Magazine.
‘We’ve been together seven years already and I love Fran more and more every day, so it’s just made it more official.’
‘I didn’t expect to get teary. I had to take a minute to stop myself from crying properly. It means so much to get married. Fran is the love of my life.’
The couple tied the knot on August 18 at the picturesque Merrydale Manor in Cheshire and they have a four-year-old son together, Jesse.
On the first time he met his wife;
‘Within a few minutes I knew she was the one.
‘I went in to get some clothes to try to make me look good, and I ended up meeting my future wife!’
