Daddy Freeze in his usual manner has shared his knowledge about the scriptures and according to him, alcohol as always been part of it.

Read his piece below;

  • Although alcohol must be drunk in moderation, and it’s abuse is dangerous, it has been and will always be a part of Christianity thus cannot be removed by modern doctrine.

    We seem to get more stupid by the day. Whether you like it or not, whether your GO accepts it or not, at every juncture of Christianity alcohol was present.

    In Genesis 14 when Melchizedek, the representation of Jesus in the Old Testament met Abram he gave him bread and wine (alcoholic wine)

    In Deuteronomy 14:22-26 Drinking wine, strong drink, beer or other alcoholic drink was part of the recommended way of paying tithes.

    In the New Testament Jesus turned water to wine at a wedding.

    Jesus gave wine (alcoholic) as his blood.
    Matthew 26:27
    New Living Translation
    And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it.

    Jesus was consider a drunkard for eating and drinking. What can a human being possibly drink that would make him a drunkard? Coke? Lucozade? Akamu? Zobo?

    Matthew 11:19
    New Living Translation
    The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”
