Kanye West is sharing more information about what led to his hospitalization back in November 2016. He stopped by TMZ and revealed that he was addicted to opioids after getting liposuction.
“Two days before I was in the hospital, I was on opioids,” he said. “I was addicted to opioids.”
Ye said he just didn’t want anyone calling him fat like they did with his brother-in-law Rob Kardashian.
“I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all,” he admitted. “I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like y’all called Rob at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married. I didn’t want y’all to call me fat so I got liposuction.”
He shared that at one time he was taking up to seven pills a day.
“They gave me opioids, right? And I started taking two of them and then driving to work on the opioids,” he said.
Kanye’s mother passed away after complications following cosmetic surgery.
