The most wanted cultist in the state Kanmi has been arrested by the Lagos state police command. Via a statement by the state police command, SP Chike Oti, the police acting on reliable leads laid ambush in Ilasamaj community where Kanmi and his gang members were planning to attack the community members yesterday March 29th.
Kanmi arrived the community with his gang at about 5pm, not knowing his rank had been infiltrated by the underground operatives of the Command.
Upon sighting Kanmi and his gang, the DPO at Ilasamaj and his team nabbed him as he tried to run after being stopped from cutting a member of a rival gang down.
The police collected one locally made pistol loaded with two cartridges from him. A certain Alami Samuel, 22 years of age, an associate of Kanmi the Father was also arrested.
