A young lady who jumped from a sixth floor trying to escape being raped has shared her side of the story.
According to the 22-year-old Russian model who is reportedly in custody in Dubai, she had to jump from the 6th floor of a hotel due to her refusal to have sex with an American businessman.
The young lady Ekaterina Stetsyuk however miraculously survived the huge fall but suffered spinal injuries from the plunge. The man was said to have tried fleeing the country but was detained at the airport. He faces up to 15-years in year if convicted.
Reports also revealed that during interrogation, the man reportedly made a counterclaim saying the young lady attacked him first and he acted in self-defense.
Russian Counsel in Dubai, said: “We are thoroughly studying the situation and we are providing all necessary support to her.”
