Kenyan drug peddler dies two months to completion of her jail term

An alleged Kenyan drug peddler/dancer who was arrested at the Lagos airport and jailed has died inside Kirikiri Prison, Lagos. The woman died just two months to the end of her jail term.

Odhiambo Susan Samira Johnson, 42, was nabbed with 5.345kg cocaine concealed in school bags back in January. Upon interrogation, Susan, first claimed a friend gave her the school bags in Bujumbura to deliver in Nigeria.

She fell ill in prison and died on February 16, 2018, while being taken to the hospital. She has since been buried.
