Carnival star Tarine Lopes was dancing in Sao Paulo on Saturday night, when her thong suddenly came undone.
But ever the pro, she didn’t let it throw her at all.
Instead, she carried on performing while using her left hand to strategically keep the fabric in place.
According to local media,she admitted after the malfunction:
‘Unfortunately my thong came unstuck in the middle of the avenue, but people couldn’t stop. ‘I had to keep on dancing while I tried to keep it from falling off completely.’
Fashioning a shirt into a makeshift skirt, she added: ‘
I was really worried at first, but I carried on with my samba and did what I could do so as not to stand out too much.’
After footage of the performance was posted online, viewers praised her .
