A morgue staff has been fired for sleeping with the corpse of a murdered Big Brother star.
The deceased Oksana Aplekaeva was murdered in 2008 with her killer yet to be found.
Her body was exhumed after burial upon new information gotten by police in Russia. With the body exhumed more detailed forensic tests were carried out on her body and it was revealed that she had been sexually violated after her death.
DNA investigators later discovered that a morgue technician identified only as Alexander, 37, was the culprit who sexually violated her corpse.
Speaking after he was sacked, the technician said: “I could not argue against science. I have not been able to find a job for three months.”
He also revealed that his wife left him as a result of his action, and changed her phone number so she can’t contact him.
Alexander who worked at the morgue for 12 years before being fired, was also not fingered in the murder. There is also no evidence to suggest that he interfered with other corpses.
