Shatta Wale has made it known he does not regard Wizkid as a superstar.
The Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale said this during his interview on Ghanaian radio station, Kasapa FM.
According to Shatta Wale, many of his Ghanaian colleagues are most times starstruck around Wizkid, tagging him the best and richest African artiste but in his opinion, Wizzy, is just an ordinary person.
“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste,” he said.
Shatta Wale also added that although he isn’t in competition with anyone, but Ghanaian artistes need to start respecting themselves and stop seeing Nigerian artistes as gods.
