A Nigerian Sickle Cell survivor, Samira Sanusi, is today celebrating her brother who saved her life 13-years ago.
According to Samira, who shared her story on twitter, her brother Musty Sanusi, donated his bone marrow to save her 13 years ago.
“13 years ago today @mustysanusi gave me his Bone Marrow/Stem Cells which cured me of Sickle Cell Anaemia” she wrote.
