The entertainers voiced out in support of the ongoing campaign across Nigeria via their verified Twitter handles.
The popular American rapper, Chance took to his Twitter account to reveal that he has been ‘reading up on this travesty taking place in Nigeria’.
He further asked that people should provide him with more information.
“#EndSARS NOW #ENDSARSNOW I just started reading up on this travesty taking place in Nigeria. If you have more info to dispense in the replies I’m all ears,” he wrote.
So far, thousands of people mostly Nigerians have replied to him by sharing video clips of police brutality.
Also, Kenyan multiple award-winning artistes, Sauti Sol, have shown their support to the #ENDSARS campaign.
Sauti Sol are a Kenyan afro-pop band formed in Nairobi, Kenya by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005.
They posted, “We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. #EndSARS.”
