Cardi B is said to be in a ‘private battle’ with her music team over the release of her tracks about her rival Nicki Minaj.
According to TMZ, Cardi B, 26, wants to ‘keep it real’ about her ongoing feud with the fellow artist, 35, on her upcoming studio album, while her team remains ‘divided’.
A source close to the publication revealed the Girls Like You rapper’s forthcoming songs contain lyrics which ‘take serious jabs’ at the Anaconda star.
However, her team reportedly want Cardi to ignore her rival as they feel ‘the lyrics would actually benefit Nicki by putting the spotlight on her.’
Last month, Cardi was escorted out of the star-studded Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week after she threw a shoe at her arch enemy during a heated altercation.
