Earlier this years, Snapchatters exploded in rage following an update which changed everything about their favourite app. Now their lives could be about to get back on track because Snapchat is reversing some of the most controversial aspects of the update.

The photo app is releasing an update which will sort Snaps and Chats in chronological order again, rather than arranging them based on the posts it thought readers were most likely to want to see, The Verge reports.

The update also made users swipe right to see chums’ snaps and stories on a new ‘Friends’ page, rather than swiping left.

Now things will go back to normal, meaning you can swipe left to see all your mates’ selfies
