Senator Ali Wakili, has died at the age of 58.
According to reports Wakili, who represented Bauchi South in the Senate, died after he slumped at his Gwarimpa residence, on Saturday morning March 17th. He was immediately rushed to Viewpoint Hospital, where he was eventually certified dead.
At about 1:30pm today, his funeral prayers will be held at the National mosque Abuja after which, his remains will be laid to rest.
Wakili was reportedly on his way to Yola this morning and had called his driver to get himself but slumped not long after.
