A mentally deranged man who hacked two students of the Saint John’s Anglican Primary School, Agodo in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area to death during their lunch break on Monday March 12th, has been arrested by the police.
The children identified as Mubarak Kalesowo and Sunday Obituyi died instantly due to the deep machete cuts from the attack.
Via a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect identified as Lekan Adebisi, was caught in a bush at Area J4 in Ijebu East Local Government Area of the state today. He was caught via the combined effort of policemen and local hunters.
Reports also have it that Adebisi was shot in the leg while attempting to escape. He has since been taken to the state police heardquarters.
