Gbenga Daniels, the former Governor of Ogun State and the campaign director for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has resigned from the PDP and from politics.
Via a letter sent to the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, Daniel stated that he is quitting politics for personal reasons.
He wrote;
“My decision in this regard is entirely personal to me and having served in various capacities, including as Governor of Ogun State, I have resolved to immerse myself in some other vocations and take on some new challenges“.
