Muhammadu Buhari has hailed Sweden for its humanitarian help to victims of terrorists in Nigeria.
Speaking during a goodbye visit to the State House by the outgoing Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mrs Inger Ultvedt, Buhari said Nigeria are speking highly of the Swedes as regards their humanitarian spirit, helping the less-privilege and aiding displaced Nigerian communities to move on with life.
His words, “You are well-known for helping the poor. You should extend our gratitude to your country for standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us in helping the victims of insurgency in their moment of suffering.”
President Buhari also wished Ambassador Ultvedt, who is exiting Nigeria ahead of the scheduled end of her tour because of health-related issues, quick recovery.
