Australian businessman James Packer dated superstar Mariah Carey for 18 months before they called off their engagement in 2016.
And the billionaire has spoken candidly about the couple’s failed relationship in the new biography The Price Of Fortune: The Untold Story Of Being James Packer.
According to an excerpt published by The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday, the 51-year-old says he became ‘toxic’ at the time of their split,

Mariah reportedly received a USD$50million ‘inconvenience fee’ after the breakup, with The Daily Telegraph reporting she was initially ‘poised to accept $7 million to walk away’ before allegedly upping the sum.
He also denied leaking the news of the settlement. ”I had nothing to do with that” he said
