A 15-year-old girl who escaped from Boko Haram captivity in Borno state has been found by the Nigerian army and handed over to the appropriate authority.
The girl identified as Zainab Mohammed was intercepted by troops of 28 Task Force Brigade deployed in operation Lafiya Dole on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Gubla after she escaped from one of the terrorists’ camps. This was confirmed by Spokesman for the Army, Brig Gen Texas Chukwu said.
“The hostage will be handed over to the appropriate authority on completion of the investigation.”
