Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt drops in sales

As Cristiano Ronaldo gears up to leave Real Madrid in the coming days,  the Official Store of the club at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is selling less of his shirts than normal – though the Portuguese’s shirt still remains one of the best sellers.

A supporter left the store with his two children, and all were wearing the shirt of captain, Sergio Ramos, Marca.com reports.

“Cristiano Ronaldo has given everything for Real Madrid and the time has come for him to leave the club,” he said.

“He has to look for new goals and I’m sure the player who comes will be as good as he was.”

It was precisely the shirt of the Madrid captain that sold the most during the hour and a half that an in-house survey lasted.

Isco’s was the second best sold in the afternoon.

“I bought Ronaldo’s shirt because he is my idol,” declared a young supporter deeply hurt by the possible departure of the player.

Most of the Madrid fans who bought the team’s shirt preferred to do it without any name on the back.

What is clear is that the information that links Cristiano to Juventus is affecting the sale of his shirts and until his future is resolved, there will be many Madrid fans who opt for the another player’s shirt before that of the Portuguese player.
