Months back,Jay Z addressed overcoming infidelity in his marriage .Speaking to the New York Times,he blamed his infidelity on the way he was raised and said he was forced to go into “survival mode.
However,as their On The Run Tour 2 has kicked off,and with they revelation they renewed their vows, a section of that interview just went viral once again.
In that interview,he revealed they didn’t get a divorce because he and Beyonce are soulmates
“You know, most people walk away, and the divorce rate is like 50% or something ’cause most people can’t see themselves.”The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone’s face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself.”
Well, that’s my soulmate. It’s the person I love. And you can be in love with someone, you can love someone, and if you haven’t experienced love and you don’t understand it, and you don’t have the tools to move forward, then you’re going to have complications, period.”
He continued,
“You can either address it, or you can pretend until it blows up at some point, and for us, we chose to fight for our love, for our family, to give our kids a different outcome, to break that cycle.
