Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William, has been admitted to hospital in London in the “early stages of labour.”
She was taken by car to Saint Mary’s hospital “earlier this morning,” according to a tweet from Kensington Palace.
The palace announced Kate’s pregnancy in September. The couple have not said whether they are expecting a boy or a girl.
They already have two children: George and Charlotte.
