Literary icon and civil rights activist Maya Angelou, who died in 2014, would have been a year older, 90 years old yesterday.
Angelou was celebrated by many powerful women on social media who donned a tee shirt with the words “Phenomenal Woman” on it to celebrate her.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Tracee Ellis Ross, June Ambrose, Karrueche, Eve, Debra Lee, Serayah, Cindy Burna, Naturi Naughton, Jordan Dunn, Misty Copeland, Niecy Nash, Wendy Williams, Toni Braxton and many more celebrated her by wearing the shirt.
