Nigerian lady banned for life from the US

The US has banned a Nigerian for life for daring to present a fake visa and other fake documents at the US Embassy.

According to New Telegraph, the woman Vivian, 24,  an accountant by profession had planned to relocate to the United States with assistance from her uncle.

Reports have it that Vivian’s uncle Ugochukwu, convinced her to relocate to the US, but upon getting to the Embassy, all her documents were discovered to be fake.

Vivian had a fake United Bank of Africa (UBA) identity card; a bank she claimed to be a staff of. She also had a UBA fake bank statement.

Her passport had some stamps on it proving that she has travel history, but when asked questions about some of the countries she claimed to have visited, Vivian could not give any coherent answer.

Vivian was arrested and handed over to detectives attached to the Police Special Fraud Unit (SFU). She also promised to help investigators locate her uncle whom she claimed prepared all the fake documents for N150,000.

Asides being arrested, she was also banned for life by the Embassy and will also be prosecuted by the appropriate authorities for impersonation and drafting of fraudulent document for criminal purposes.
