Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai has lost his dad Mallam Yusuf Buratai today.
This was confirmed in a statement by Nigerian Army’s spokesman, Brig. Gen. SK Usman.The statement read
“Good morning all,
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihirrajiun. This is to inform you of the passing away of the father of the Chief of Army Staff, Alhaji Yusuf Buratai this morning in Maiduguri.”Brig Gen. Usman said.
According to reports, Buratai’s father died following a successful surgery in the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH .
