Bisi Kolawole was born on 20th September, 1956 in Ile Ife to Chief Ezekiel Kolawole of the Meyolanu Dynasty in Efon Alaaye, Ekiti state and Mrs Alice Mojirola Kolawole a native of Modakeke.
The record revealed that Bisi Kolawole has other siblings, but there are no details of who they are online. In 1961, his father returned to Efon-Alaaye to assume the position of High Chief Obaloja, which was the third in the leadership rank to the king.
Education
Bisi Kolawole was a student at St. John’s Anglican Primary School, Efon-Alaaye after which he proceeded to Doherty Memorial Grammar School, Ijero-Ekiti. He also attended Ahmadiya, College, Agege, Lagos where he bagged a Higher School Certificate (HSC).
He hold a Higher National Diploma in Graphics Design from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, and a Post Graduate Diploma and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Ado-Ekiti UNAD now known as Ekiti State University.
The record revealed that Chief Bisi Kolawole observed his mandatory one year NYSC service scheme 1981 and 1982.
After his service year, Bisi Kolawole was an employee with NICHEMTEX Industries, Ikorodu, Lagos and was there between 1982 and 1992.
Bisi Kolawole would later register his own private company focusing on printing and merchandising.
In politics, Bisi Kolawole is a prominent politician in Ekiti state and has served as a former House of Assembly member between 2007 and 2011; he was the Commissioner for Environment under the administration of former Governor Ayodele Fayose between 2015 and 2018.
Bisi Kolawale is said to be a close ally of Fayose and was once the party Chairman of the PDP in Ekiti state.
Bisi Kolawole is married to Adeola Kehinde Kolawole nee Fajilade and their union is blessed with children.
