The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) community has been thrown into a mourning mood following the death of two undergraduates from the faculty of Administration.
A 200 level student of the Business administration Department, identified as Emmanuel, allegedly drank a poisonous substance called “sniper” to end his own life.
Inside OAU media gathered that the deceased was rushed to OAU health centre via an ambulance, but he was brought in dead; had given up the ghost.
It was also reported that another part 4 student of OAU, from the department of management and accounting, faculty of administration, whose name hasn’t been known yet, committed suicide earlier today and was rushed to the health center. Unfortunately, his life was also lost in the process.
This has led to a protest on the OAU campus this morning as students find it very strange and sudden.
