Nigerian celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, has taken to social media to share an interesting story how she splashed $2.5m (N907.5m) on her first home, having realised she was rich and could afford to own a house in Banana Island.
At an event, the mother of one was asked the moment she realised she was rich. Answering the question, she recounted how she used to live in a rent apartment in Surulere which had rats running around in her sitting room.
She stated that on a particular day while blogging from home, the rats kept disturbing her until she became fed up with the disturbance.
She called up her friend and immediately went house hunting the next day.
