The Super Eagles remain unmoved in December’s ranking published by FIFA on Thursday.
The three-time African champions amassed a total of 1478.78 points to stay as the fifth-best team on the continent behind Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
Belgium finished number one in the world, followed by Brazil, France, England, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, and the Netherlands, making the top 10.
Others that made the list from 11-20 positions are the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Croatia, Colombia, Uruguay, Sweden, Wales, and Senegal.
The likes of Iran, Peru, Serbia, Chile, Ukraine, Japan, Poland, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Austria, Czech Republic, Korea Republic, Russia, Australia, Nigeria, Turkey, Scotland, Hungary, and Canada made the list from 21 – 40 positions.
