The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) diaspora movement has issued a statement of warning to groups or individuals that try to disrespect or criticize the Yoruba and national leader of the All-Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was contained in a statement issued by the general coordinator of the movement, Akogun Banji Ojo while reacting to an attack on the elder statesman by a certain southwest group, Akogun Banji Ojo said Asiwaju Tinubu is a national leader and does not necessarily need to involve himself in all matters, he is a humble leader who takes caution in addressing issues that are critical.
“Asiwaju Tinubu actively contributes to matters arising in the country, a fact that can be backed up by his recent visit to the collapsed Ikoyi 21-storey building”, Akogun Banji Ojo stated.
He however advises anyone or groups trying to criticize Tinubu to rather drum support for him and more so it is high time for all Yoruba to rally around the laudable leader.
“We will not tolerate any attempt to insult the Yoruba traditional and political leaders as the 2023 general elections draw nearer, if you have nothing to do, you can stay off”, Akogun Banji Ojo concluded.
