Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has taken his children on a family trip to his hometown Agbamu, Kwara State.
The 46-year-old travelled in a convoy of vehicles which included a Caravan.
He shared a video of three of his children playing ludo while the last one was sleeping in an Instagram post on December 24.
Kunle captioned the post saying,
“Ile odun ya. See you later Lagos.”
In another post, Kunle shared videos of himself and the family eating pounded yam in Gbongan, Osun State.
Demola Adedoyin, an actor from Agbamu like him, traveled with Kunle.
Demola was in Kunle’s October 1 and The Bridge, a film Kunle directed for Lasun Ray Eyiwumi
On Christmas day Kunle visited the grave of his father Adeyemi Afolayan popularly known as Ade Love and grandmother.
He said, “Merry Christmas from the lovely town of Agbamu in Irepodun local government of Kwara state.”
In a post on December 26 the ‘Figurine’ director shared lovely family pictures.
Kunle also took his children to tour his secondary school on December 27.
He attended Government Secondary School Agbamu.
That after the tour in the day, Kunle and his family sat down to watch one of his father’s movies Kadara at night.
Kunle, before the trip, wrapped up on the set of Ayinla, a Tunde Kelani film.
He will be playing the role of Olabisi Ajala alias, ‘Ajala travel all over the world’.
