See What Nigerian Youths Demand From The Government As They Block Lekki Toll Gate
Nigerian youth have been massively involved in the ongoing #ENDSARS movements across every states. They are all tired of the police brutality which has sent some youths to their early grave.
Our correspondent went to the Lekki Toll Gate to hear from the protesters what their main goal is in this ongoing protest. We’ve known Lekki Toll Gate as their main seat in Lagos where many celebrities also join to partake in.
Some youths while interviewing them revealed that the #ENDSARS movement is just the kickstart of them forming a new government. They revealed that although the ENDSARS and ENDSWAT is also among their plan in making a new Nigeria, they want to make sure those currently in power now leave their position as they are making things hard for the youth all over the country.
They lamented that many Universities are producing graduates every year but the government didn’t provide any job for them which made the rate to unemployed youth in the country increase drastically.
They revealed that this has never happened in Nigeria and it is the best movement by the youth. They all said they want a fresh Nigeria as Nigeria is at 60 with many youth still unemployed. They also want to make sure the next general election will be of mainly young minds who are ready to serve the citizens.
