The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor of Edo State under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Godwin Obaseki winner of the September 19, 2020 governorship election.
Obaseki scored 307,955 to defeated his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 223,619
